71-year-old man tragically killed in Earl’s Court lorry smash named

A 71-year-old pedestrian who tragically died in a lorry crash in Earl’s Court last month has been named.

Stephen Herrick Requa, of no fixed address, was struck by a lorry and taken to hospital but he sadly passed away a short time later.

The incident Friday, 23 September to reports of a collision between a lorry and a man in Earl’s Court Road.

A post-mortem said the cause of death was severe pelvic and chest injuries.

The lorry, which did not stop, was traced. The 44-year-old driver wasn’t arrested but is currently helping police with their enquiries.
