A man who allegedly tried to rob Simon Cowell’s mansion has been charged

A man who allegedly tried to rob Simon Cowell’s luxurious West London mansion has been charged following a break-in.

The X Factor star, his partner Lauren Silverman and baby son Eric, were all asleep at the time.

The man nicked jewellery and money from the Holland Park pad during the incident last December.

Darren February, 32, has now been charged with burglary. He will appear at Hammersmith Magistrates’ Court in October.
