“Don’t touch her”: man hit woman he had just sexually assaulted on the 144 bus

Police investigating a sexual assault in June have released more details to help jog the public’s memory.

During the incident on 19th June on the High Road in Wood Green, the victim walked up to the suspect and took him by the collar.

Despite a call of “don’t touch her” from a member of the public, the suspect struck her face and hit her glasses.

“The man is described as a white, aged between 35 and 45 years old and approximately 6ft in height,” said police.

“He had short mousey hair which was turning grey and blue/grey eyes. He was wearing a white collared shirt with a grey jumper or hooded top.”
