Firebomb thrown into Chelsea mansion

These CCTV images show the moment a bottle of flaming liquid was thrown over the front gates of Bernie Ecclestone’s socialite daughter Petra Ecclestone.

It narrowly missed her £60,000 Range Rover when it was hurled over at 5.25pm yesterday.

Petra is Formula 1 tycoon Bernie Ecclestone’s youngest daughter. Her art dealer husband James Stunt and their three young children were not believed to have been home at the time of the attack.

Detective Constable Clare Reynolds, of Kensington and Chelsea CID said: “We are keen to hear from anyone who may recognise those shown in the images released, or anyone who witnessed the incident.

“These men showed a complete disregard for anyone’s safety by blindly throwing flammable liquid over a gate – if anyone had been on the other side they could have been seriously injured.”

Anyone with information should call Kensington and Chelsea CID via 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
