London is the FIFTH most expensive place in the world to be a student

London is the FIFTH most expensive place in the world to be a student, according to data from estate agent Savills.
Boston in the USA was top, where American students pay an average of $5,810 a month.
Home students in London pay an average of $3,425.
The report took into account living expenses, tuition fees, and accommodation costs.
Barcelona, Munich, and Beijing also featured high on the list.
“Although at the moment the majority of students are still heading to more expensive institutions we expect the trickle of students choosing value over traditional reputation to increase – particularly when so many of the universities in these cheaper cities now have the credentials to rival the old bastions of education,” said Paul Tostevin, associate director of Savills research.
