London has been rated the world’s best city in a new study, beating competitors as diverse as Paris, Los Angeles and Shanghai.
The poll – by top firm PwC – took place in December 2015, and quizzed over 5,000 people around the world on topics like infrastructure, happiness and entertainment.
The questioners spoke to “high net worth individuals”, described as “senior business decision makers or well-educated, high-income consumers who typically stay up to date with world events”, reports the Daily Mail.
Paris came second and New York came third.
Reaction on Twitter was mixed. “London IS the best city. I am def not an elite. This is just fact,” said user Courtney.
But a user named CGL disagreed, saying: “London is rapidly heading downhill, this survey is nonsense.”
