Man from Plumstead caught dealing crack cocaine

A man from Plumstead who was caught dealing crack cocaine in broad daylight has been jailed.

Jack Doherty, 18 and of Sovereign House, Europe Road, will go to prison for over two years.

He had previously pleaded guilty to posession of ten wraps (1.17 grams) of crack cocaine with intent to supply.

At 9.30am on 10th August, cops from the Greenwich Borough Gangs Unit were patrolling a beat in Kingsman Parade, Woolwich, when he was seen to be dealing drugs.

“I am pleased with the sentenced imposed, Jack Doherty chose to engage in drug supply and now has to face the consequences of his actions and serve a term of imprisonment,” Detective Constable Gavin Russell from the Greenwich Gangs Unit said.
