Man seriously assaulted in Dalston after “unprovoked attack”

Police in Hackney need your help after a man was seriously assaulted in Dalston.

The incident, which took place on Glebe Road near Haggerston station in the middle of the night on August 1st, saw a 37-year-old man hospitalised with head and facial injuries.

“Both suspects were described as black males, aged in their 20s, around 5ft 8ins tall. One was described as wearing a white jacket and beige trousers; the other was described as wearing dark clothing,” police said.

And DC Larissa Nightingale, the officer in the case, added: “I am appealing to anyone who recognises the men in these images to contact police and assist our investigation. Any information will be treated in the strictest of confidence.

“This was a violent and unprovoked attack and it is imperative that these two males are identified as soon as possible.”
