Man stabbed in Romford following fight on Exchange Road

Police need your help after a man was stabbed in Romford yesterday.

Officers were called to Exchange Road, near Romford station, at 2.15pm on Monday after reports of a fight between two men.

A man in his 30s was found stabbed in the neck. He was taken to hospital after London Ambulance Service and Air Ambulance attended.

His condition has been described as potentially life-changing.

Two men, aged 41 and 40, have been arrested.

As of yesterday evening, a crime scene cordon remained in place at the site.

“Officers from Havering CID investigate and appeal for anyone who witnessed this incident or the events around the time of this incident to contact them,” police said in a statement.
