Man tried to hide hard drugs inside bodily orifice

A man who tried to hide hard drugs inside a bodily orifice has been sent to prison for 32 months.

Toby Brown, 19, of Hardinge Crescent in Woolwich, was trying to conceal £5,000 worth of heroin when he soiled himself at hospital.

“Once he had arrived at custody, Brown was referred to hospital as a precaution. It was at hospital, whilst waiting for an x-ray, that Brown soiled himself revealing around 20-40 grams of suspected drugs,” police said.

PC David Paine, from Greenwich Borough’s Gangs Unit, said: “The designated Estates Team, and Gangs Unit in Greenwich constantly work day and night to rid the streets of those who engage in preying vulnerable, supplying Class A drugs within the borough.

“Brown tried to avoid detection by hiding it internally, but it didn’t work, and the court result proves we will get our hands dirty to ensure this type of activity stops.

“He used a dangerous tactic to try and conceal drugs but nature took its course and, as a result, he will now spend a significant time in prison.”
