Man with a bleed on the brain walked out of hospital – can you help?

Police need the public’s help to find a missing man with a bleed on the brain who walked out of King’s College Hospital on Sunday.

42-year-old Matthew Alexander was last seen at about 4.15pm on the 8th.

He is described by police as “a black man, about 5ft 7ins in height, of medium build with greying dreadlocks”.

“He was last seen wearing a dark green/brown sweater, black jeans and black trainers and is known to frequent the Southwark, Lewisham and Lambeth areas.

“Matthew was admitted to King’s College Hospital on Thursday, 5 January with a bleed on the brain. He walked out at about 16:15hrs on Sunday, 8 January. He was not discharged by medical staff.”

There is a risk Matthew could lose consciousness due to his injury. He could appear to be confused.
