Men wanted in connection with stabbing incident in Tooting

Detectives from Wandsworth investigating a stabbing want to speak to these men caught on CCTV in connection with the incident.

It took place on Thursday 4th August when a 21-year-old man sustained stab wounds near HSBC on Tooting High Street.

The man was attacked by a group of men armed with knives, but he was able to grab one of the knives and throw it away.

He took refuge in a fast food restaurant and was later taken to hospital and discharged.

Police described the first suspect as “a large black man, aged in his early 20s. He was wearing a black hooded jacket over a light coloured top, a dark blue baseball cap, black trousers and black trainers.”

The second was described “as a black man, also aged in his early 20s. He was wearing a dark blue shirt, dark coloured trousers and dark trainers.”

And Detective Constable Daniel Babbs, from Wandsworth CID, added: “We are keen to hear from anyone who may recognise the two men shown in the footage or the still released, or anyone who witnessed the incident.”
