Missing: man from Stepney left for exercise class and didn’t come home

Police in Tower Hamlets say they are “growing increasingly concerned for the welfare” of missing 36-year-old Sandeep Rakhra from Stepney.

Sandeep was last seen around 7pm on Tuesday of this week at his home in Shandy Street near Stepney Green tube station as he left for a weekly exercise class.

He didn’t return home and hasn’t been seen since.

Sandeep is described by police as “approximately 6ft 3ins tall with dark hair and is of medium build. He is of Indian heritage.

“At the time of his disappearance he was wearing black Adidas tracksuit bottoms with red stripes, a black jacket, navy blue trainers and a grey hat.”

If you have any information, please call police on 101 or missing people on 116 000.
