Museum-goers left upset after melancholy “Queen has died” posters put up

There’s sadness in the air at London’s Natural History Museum this week after it was revealed that the queen ant has died, causing many other ants in the colony to end up on death row as well.

This sign, posted on Twitter by user Russell Bloor, shows just how sad the situation is:

It is understood that the queen passed away a year ago, and will be replaced. This process occurs naturally once every few years.
