No injuries as fire crews evacuate people from Shepherds Bush flat blaze

This was the shocking scene in Shepherds Bush this week after four fire engines raced to a burning terraced house in the middle of the night.

Part of the lower ground floor of the Askew Road house, arranged into flats, was damaged on Thursday.

Five people were evacuated by firefighters from Hammersmith, Chiswick, and Acton fire stations.

The cause of the fire is currently unknown. Thankfully, there were no injuries.
