One of London’s lesser-known emergency services has launched a campaign to raise awareness

One of London’s lesser-known emergency services has launched a campaign to raise awareness about its life-saving help.

London Air Ambulance, which “brings the hospital directly to the patients”, can reach those who need assistance in just a matter of minutes.

Did you know that the service can perform open chest surgery for patients in cardiac arrest at the roadside, such as after a stab wound? The service has an 18% survival rate for this, which is the highest in the world.

You can find out more about the service here: https://londonsairambulance.co.uk/our-service
