Police arrest woman in relation to Khalid Safi stabbing death in Acton

Police investigating the death of Khalid Safi in Acton have arrested a 19-year-old woman.

The woman was arrested at an address in Redbridge on suspicion of conspiracy to murder. She has not yet been named and has been bailed to return next month.

The incident happened on Victoria Road near North Acton station on December 1st, after reports of a fight.

Khalid had been stabbed, and died in a West London hospital a short time later.

Detective Chief Inspector Sam Price, who is leading the investigation for the Homicide and Major Crime Command, said: “There were a lot of people in the area of Victoria Road at the time of the incident and, while we have spoken to several people, I believe that not everyone has come forward at this time.

“I am continuing to appeal for anyone who witnessed the fatal stabbing or the moments leading up to it to contact officers in the incident room.

“I would urge anyone who can assist our investigation to come forward as soon as possible.”
