Police in Hillingdon are searching for a man who attempted to abduct two young boys in Harefield.

The incident occurred on Park Lane on Saturday evening. The brave boys were unharmed and are helping police.

“Hillingdon police are investigating an allegation of attempted abduction, which occurred on Saturday 24 September 2016 at approximately 7.30pm in Park Lane, Harefield, near to the Old Orchard Public House,” said police.

“The incident concerns two 11-year-old boys who were approached by the driver of a silver van.

“They continue to assist the police with this investigation.

“Extensive CCTV enquiries are being conducted.”
