Police need your help finding Tottenham hate crime men

Police need your help searching for two men who pulled down a woman’s hijab in north east London last month.

The woman, who is in her 20s, was walking along the High Road when she was approached by the men.

The attack, which took place on 28th September, resulted in both men running away in the direction of Pelham Road (near Seven Sisters station).

“The first suspect is described as a white man, aged in his late 20s or early 30s, with blond or ginger shaved hair and stubble,” police said.

“He was approximately 5ft 6in and wearing a burgundy coloured hooded top.

“The second suspect is described as a man of Mediterranean appearance, aged in his late 20s or early 30s, clean shaven with spiky hair. He was wearing a grey hooded top.”

The attack is being treated as a racially motivated crime.

Det Con Ben Cousin said: “This was a shocking attack in broad daylight in the middle of a busy street.”
