Two people arrested over murder of 24-year-old in Fulham

Police have arrested two people over the fatal shooting of a 24-year-old in Fulham last week.

24-year-old Salim Coulter was found dead in Walham Grove in the front seat of his car on 5th December.

A 29-year-old man has now been arrested in Wandsworth on suspicion of murder, and a 27-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

“Both currently remain in custody pending further enquires,” said police.

“Salim had been out that evening with one of his friends. They stopped for something to eat at the ‘Jerky Chicken’ restaurant in Walham Grove.

“They parked the car they were driving – a silver and black Renault Captur – in Walham Grove, near to the junction with North End Road.

“After they left the restaurant and returned to the car, Salim was shot once as he was getting into the front passenger seat,” police added.
