London is one of the unfriendliest cities in Britain, a study has found.
The report, carried out by Provident Personal Credit, sees the capital rank 30/30 on the friendliness scale.
It comes in at 27/30 on the “trust” metric, and at 28/30 for safety.
Aberdeen in Scotland was named the country’s safest city, while Wrexham in Wales was named the city with the best area up-keep.
York is the friendliest city, and also the politest.
“How friendly is your local area? Do you know all of your neighbours names?” the report’s authors wrote.
“We reveal the parts of Britain where you’re more likely to receive a warm welcome, and also where you can expect a frostier reception.”
2,642 people were surveyed.
