VIDEO: Shocking moment man throws bottle at car windscreen

Police need your help to find a man who threw a plastic bottle at a moving car near Heathrow in August.

The video, taken by CCTV in the victim’s minicab, shows a man lean out of the front passenger seat of a passing car and throw the bottle.

It happened around 7.30am on 24th August, on the Northern Perimeter Road near Heathrow Airport.

The shocking incident did not result in any injuries, but a windscreen was damaged.

The driver of the bottle-throwing car has been traced but “he claims not to recall the identity of the passenger”, say police.

“The suspect is a white man, aged in his 20s, who had dark hair and a beard at the time of the incident. He may have connections to the Bedfont area,” police added. Bedfont is in Hounslow, in the area around Hatton Cross.

Officers are asking anyone who can identify the man throwing the bottle to call Heathrow CID via 101. To remain anonoymous, call Crimestppers on 0800 555 111.
