Vulnerable 74-year-old missing from Islington – can you help?

Police need your help to find a vulnerable elderly man who went missing in Islington after going out to feed the birds.

Thomas Torpey, aged 74, was last seen near Mackenzie Road – by Caledonian Road station – at around 9am on 27th October (this Thursday).

Police said he went to nearby Paradise Park to feed the birds but didn’t come home.

He is described as “a white man, 5ft 9inches tall of medium build with grey hair. When last seen he was wearing a black suit, a dark blue shirt, black shoes and carrying a grey overcoat.”

“He frequents King’s Cross Train Station, public houses on Seven Sisters Road and Paradise Park, Islington,” police added.

Anyone who has seen him or has any information is asked to contact Islington Police via 101 or call the charity Missing People on 116 000.
