Woman dramatically rescued after getting trapped under no. 52 bus

A woman has been dramatically rescued by London Ambulance crews after she was trapped under a bus in West London.

The double-decker 52 to Victoria hit the pavement in Ladbroke Grove just before 12pm.

Thankfully, no-one – including the woman and the driver – suffered life-threatening injuries in the crash.

London Ambulance Service told the BBC had sent “multiple resources to the scene” including four ambulance crews.

The Air Ambulance was also in attendance. Ladbroke Grove closed for a short while but is now open again.

A gym owner over the road, who saw the accident, told the BBC the “bus went from one side [of the road] to the other and picked up pace”.
